Neither does it try to rival commercial software targetting the professional animation sector. Its main purpose is to make traditional animation. Pencil is not intended to mimick web-oriented vector-based animation software such as Flash. I decided to improve it and use it as a basis to build a bitmap/vector animation program. I was lucky to find 'Pencil Planner' by Patrick Corrieri, a little programme for pencil tests. However, there is surprisingly almost no free cross-platform software for traditional animation. Nowadays, computers make animation much easier. As a child, I tried to make some animation by drawing in notebooks but the result was somewhat unsatisfactory. Enable NTFS write support on Mac without formatting the drive. Reformat the drive in a file system (ExFAT) with write support enabled on both Windows and macOS. We can fix this read-only access issue primarily in two ways: MacOS doesn’t have native write support for NTFS, which means, you can only view or open files stored on the drive, but can’t edit, copy, move, or delete them.
